Very good Malay-style cafe with good selections. Their Malay beef brisket curry was so flavourful and the meat was very tender. It came with French baguettes and they matched up so well with the creamy curry sauce. I couldn't resist returning the next day for some other dishes. They also have some other Chinese-style dishes and an HK-style lunch menu. Will try them out some other day. Recommended.
Their laksa is the best here. Roti and curry sauce is absolutely amazing. They have seafood galore as well and cheaper than the lobster mountain place. Good service.
Love the food here, they are a Hong Kong cafe but have Malaysian and Singaporean dishes as well! Service is quick and the restaurant is clean. Overall a great place for a quick meal! The chicken rice and the kuay teow are my favourite dishes.
After scouring Yelp for any HK cafes I haven't yet been to, I found Les Chateaux Restaurant! Apparently my mom is actually a regular here so she's been holding out on me. We came here for afternoon tea that runs from 2:30pm - 6:00pm. There was lots of space available including many coveted booth seats. Just a tip during the cold weather but it is totally drafty sitting next to the windows. Enough that you might want to keep your jacket on so choose your seats wisely for maximum comfort. If you are really cold for some reason the washrooms were toasty warm so you can always warm up in there. :) We were ready to order and the ladies were very attentive. They brought over hot tea even though with the afternoon tea orders came with drinks. The pork chop with fries came out first. The fries were hot and crispy and just a little bit powdery. The pork chop was a big portion. It could have used a little bit more flavor though. I had the baked spaghetti bolognese. One thing that they did perfectly was with the cheesey baked crust on top. As for the rest of it, it really could've used more sauce and meat. To cap off the meal we split a french toast that came with melty peanut butter in the middle. It was so good with just a little bit of the melted butter...no syrup even necessary! It was the perfect accompaniment to the HK milk tea we got which was very smooth and not too strong.
